VOTE by June 2nd

Sacramento needs new leadership. The homelessness crisis is out of control, and it's time for real change. I'm running for supervisor to deliver solutions: reduce homelessness, protect renters and homeowners, enhance public safety, create quality jobs, and support local businesses. Together, we can build a thriving county for all.

MY STORY
My parents were dedicated public school teachers, instilling in me the value of community service. At age 11, I lost my father to heart disease, a preventable tragedy caused by Big Tobacco's deceit. This loss shaped my mission to help families flourish by making government work for the people, not special interests or political insiders.

I've fought to give everyone the chance to live a healthy, prosperous life. At the CA Department of Public Health, I led a coalition that reduced infant mortality by 14%, expanded women's healthcare under the Affordable Care Act, and improved emergency response. As chair of Sacramento's Measure U committee, I pushed the city to spend taxpayer dollars as promised - to reduce homelessness and expand youth services. I'm running because too many voices have been ignored by political insiders.

As County Supervisor, my first three priorities are:

‍1. Protect Our People
‍When Washington hurts working families, the County has to step up. I’ll use county legal, health, and budget power to protect people from harmful federal policies.

‍2. Keep People Housed
‍Our housing crisis is a public health crisis. Full stop. And I’ll fight for housing stability accordingly — preventing displacement and reducing homelessness.

‍3. Green Jobs, Good Pay
‍We can fight climate change and raise wages. I’ll use my vote to support small businesses and union jobs by rapidly transitioning to clean energy, protecting the environment and preparing us for natural disasters.

Protect our People. Keep People Housed. Green Jobs, Good Pay.

‍That’s what county government is for — and when we lead with courage and care, more is possible.‍
